Ma, tegnap, holnap

The manufacturer Bende László is taken to the Marton Sanatorium with a heart-attack. Professor Téry cannot help, but to brighten László's remaining days, sends him on a trip. At a hotel László meets Doctor Wagner Edit accidentally. On an excursion they are left together and declare their love to each other. Edit turns out to be Téry's wife. Her husband does not want a divorce, but under the obligation of a doctor's secrecy, does not tell her about László's fate. Edit chooses László, but happiness, tension and drinking kill him.
