Indigenous Detective Jay Swan (Aaron Pedersen) arrives in the frontier mining town of Goldstone on a missing persons enquiry. More than noir, this film is actually pretty good documentation of the issues that exist in Australian society and what the locals have to deal with, besides alcohol, of course. Unfortunately, the story itself isn't as interesting as the shots of beautiful Australia, but even those don't make this a really good crime film.
