Elliot Garner explains that the Bishop can plead cognitive dysfunction when the U.S. Attorney files charges against him, but Bishop knows he'll lose Calvary that way. After seeing Connie with Phil DeMars of Harmony & Hope, the Bishop appeals to Mae to leave after her big day - or Connie and Phil will remove the Greenleafs entirely. Mae doubles down on herself before rocking her congregation with her sermon at A Day with Lady Mae. After Grace and Aaron get blood tests, it's obvious from Grace's reaction to her mother's sermon that Lionel is actually her father - not the Bishop. Grace uses Coralie to draw Rochelle out of hiding and has her arrested as Jacob convinces a shaken Tasha to testify against Rochelle and Basie. With the plan now blown, Basie goes to Calvary to shoot the Bishop. Kerissa decides to divorce Jacob, but is unsure if she can do it when Sophia brings Zora home after Isaiah nearly beats her again.
