The Prosecutor the Defender the Father and His Son

A thrilling drama about the struggle for redress after the terrible crimes committed during the war in Bosnia. Milorad Krstic is on trial at the International Criminal Court in The Hague for ordering a massacre and prosecutor Cathrine Lagrange (Romane Bohringer) is fighting to get him convicted. When she produces a key witness, a boy who claims to have fought in Krstic's army, the case seems just about closed. In order to investigate and, if possible, poke holes in the witness's story, defence attourney Mikhail Finn (Samuel Fröler) sets off with an interpreter (Nermina Lukac) to the ravaged Bosnian countryside. There, they find the boy's family and a truth long hidden. This film, inspired by actual events, leads us headlong into a dilemma where truth and justice are completely at odds.
