Englisch A universal life booster no matter what mood you're in. Whether it's playing on the strings of humor, sadness, nostalgia, or hope, it keeps coming up with an idea that makes me laugh, moves me, and above all, entertains me. From the fourth season on, the humor gets too dependent on pop culture references, but the unique grace with which the main foursome performs even the most self-satirical farce cannot be criticized. Perhaps I am even more entertained by the younger generation, especially the naive Coyote and the uncompromising Brianna. Thanks for the sarcastic one-liner rejoinders and heartfelt emotional performances, especially on topics that are now more current than when the series began. ()

Englisch A series that knows very well what its strong point is and is not afraid to fully rely on it, but it is absolutely not aware of the weak points that make the show mediocre. The strong point is clear: the central quartet, which was portrayed so that the local characters "in the autumn of life" are not mere caricatures (as is the case with similar characters), but despite the tragicomic touch, they are alive. And, of course, perfectly played, especially Jane and Lily live their life to the fullest despite their age. Their line follows the same path as Ruth Fisher's from Six Feet Under. Which is meant as a strong point, very strong. However, almost the same space as the central quartet is dedicated to their descendants. And that's a stumbling block. It seems to have been written by someone who understands the generation of our grandparents, has lived and learned decades of partner rituals, and knows that even at this age life is not only about is watching TV on sofa in a retirement home, but at the same time does not fully understand the younger generation. The result is a unbalanced patchwork, where the central quartet having living characters at their disposal and the younger generation is left with affected one-dimensional extremely annoying characters. While the former carry the show (a lot), the latter takes it a step down (a lot). After all, there is more than a small number of fill episodes, which does not improve the overall impression. ()
