When a reserved aging taxi driver is forced to take a badly beaten pregnant woman to the closest hospital in Tehran, a series of hostile encounters, accusations and ill-fated events awaken the bitter scars from the past in him and derail him from the course of an ordinary day towards an irreversible decision about his passenger and her baby.
