William H. Macy must have been reminiscing about his own adolescence during filming, because there is probably no other explanation for his involvement at the helm here. This is a film that is only good to watch because it features a confrontation between two of Hollywood's biggest hotties of the moment, and if it wasn’t for the stupid script, it could have even been a decent comedy. That leaves only the male roles as relatively reasonable and logical characters.
