Baka no hakobune

Daisuke and Hisako are a young couple ruined by their attempts to sell the diet drink they invented, called Akajiru. Wanting to make a new start, they move to the small island where Daisuke's family lives. But life there is not as peaceful as they had imagined: Daisuke's father tries to talk him into leaving his ruinous business and finding a job that would allow him to pay his debts; his best friend from school, Ozaki, now runs the local grocery store, but refuses to stock their drink; and his former lover, Madoka, has become a prostitute in a massage parlour.
