Die erfolgreiche Lobbyistin Leah Vaughn führt mit ihrem Freund Dave eine glückliche Beziehung. Als diese an ihrem Kinderwunsch scheitert, kommt es zur Trennung. Hals über Kopf stürzt sich Leah in eine Affäre mit dem mysteriösen Carter. Der charmante, gut aussehende Mann ist einfach zu perfekt, um wahr zu sein. Incredibly boring movie that pretends to be so nonchalant and in the end it is empty and utterly worthless. Such pseudo-rough romance, where actually nothing truly disgusting happens, only a few scenes are supposed to create a feeling of suspense in the viewer, that it's terribly thrilling. It's not. The actors are terrible and so is the superficial script with its boring development.
