Los muertos

The Dead reveals the lives of Mexico’s most privileged youth, sketching out how money can be a force that can imprison and blind one to surrounding social and political realities. It shows the uncomfortable friction between a Mexico where nothing happens and another Mexico in which many things happen. In the midst of all this, an unexpected accident symbolizes the emergence of Mexico from the horror of its void. (Morelia International Film Festival)
