Naru kaulaan, nulikka!

Life at the start of the 1960s in Ostrobothnia, Finland. Brothers Ville and Kalle Karlsson perform at the village hall. Little brother Ville works as a juggler, ticket salesman and an announcer, but the performance culminates in a number where Kalle hangs from a noose for two minutes. One night, Kalle does not arrive to the performance on time, and his little brother has to perform the hanging trick himself. Based on Finnish poet Elmer Diktonius’ short story.
