La Gang des hors-la-loi

Nicky is in double mourning. A terrible storm took his father and now, due to depression, his grandfather is sinking into depression and alcohol. Now summer vacation has begun and it's time for Nicky to resume his greatest pleasure: playing baseball with his friends. But a major obstacle greets the boys and girls who assemble at the village baseball field: the town council has decided to convert the field into a municipal dump. War breaks out. With Nicky as their leader, the village kids will resist the mayor's stealthy machinations with ferocity and humor. And, to their surprise, they will receive the ingenious support of Nicky's grandfather and his old buddies. That eventful summer, Nicky will learn the hard lessons of leadership and will end up reconciling with his grandfather. (Zlín Film Festival)
