This short documentary from 2012 with the poetic name For the Cinnamon Flower was directed by a young filmmaker Maria Sanchez Teston. In 2011, this talented director was given a university grant which she used to shoot this film. The film focuses on sexism and violence in music, from the Middle Ages to this day. We learn that people often do not even know what they are listening to. The film has won awards at many festivals. The narrative is complemented by thoughtful animations mixing various art techniques. (Academia Film Olomouc)
