Director Wong Jing continues his blockbuster series of "God of Gamblers" with the talented comedian Stephen Chow once again. Gambling comedy has been one of the favorite movie genres of Hong Kong audience. Apart from its heart-racing scenario, the hilarious slapstick comedy is always the main attraction. Proper madness, which isn't bad, but somehow it shifted from a fairly realistic action film with humor to a fantastical one. It still has humor, but the action isn't as good, and the gambling scenes definitely don't hold up to the original God of Gamblers. It's a shame that it's turning more into a spectacle.
