Minnesota, tiefer Winter im Jahre 2010. Ein Erbschaftsstreit um eine wertvolle Briefmarkensammlung hat das Brüderpaar Emmit und Ray Stussy entzweit. Ray versucht, mit einem Raubüberfall in der Villa seines Bruders an ein Briefmarken-Unikat zu kommen. Der wohlhabende Emmit hat hingegen ganz andere Sorgen: Der 'Parkplatzkönig von Minnesota' ist von seinem dubiosen Kreditgeber V.M. Varga reingelegt worden und muss nun sein Geschäft retten. Als der Einbruch in Emmits Villa mit einem Toten endet, ruft das die patente Polizistin Gloria Burgle auf den Plan. (ORF)

I had to give five stars to the first part of the third season because it immediately drew me into the plot and I happily discovered that the storyline is once again made up of a mixture of coincidences and ubiquitous stupidity. Moreover, Mary Elizabeth Winstead is in it, and that couldn't make me happier.
