The love story of two adolescent students takes place just before the outbreak of World War II in the Vilnius area. The Chronicle of Amorous Accidents is a nostalgic return to the landscape of childhood not just for the director Wajda, but also for the author of the screenplay and the original work Tadeusz Konwicki who also became the film’s narrator.
