Die neue, aufwendig produzierte Serie „Die Musketiere" lässt die legendären Helden eine Vielzahl neuer Abenteuer bestehen. Zugleich gewinnt sie den schillernden Charakteren neue Seiten ab. Neben rasanten Kampfszenen und vertrackten Intrigen wartet die Serie auch mit feinem Humor auf. Für die Regie der ersten beiden Folgen konnte der preisgekrönte Toby Haynes gewonnen werden, der auch „Sherlock" und „Kommissar Wallander"-Filme inszeniert hat.
