The first half of the season was severely lacking in atmosphere, which the creators made up for in the second half. But then several predictable things found their way into the plot, thus ruining my overall impression. Watching the first episode felt like riding a flea. The plot constantly jumped from character to character, and not only in space but also in time, so after twenty minutes I had no idea what the creators were trying to convey to me. On top of that, so many problems/crimes were thrown at me that I really didn't know until the final scene whether it would be about investigating a disappearance, abduction, pornography, rape, or corruption. After the third installment, I can clearly state that this season does not reach the quality of the previous series. The main drawback for me is the absence of a distinct atmosphere that influenced the entire first season. In this episode, I was especially interested in the influence of local politics on the work of the police, and the assignment of individual investigators was excellent. 4* (08.11.2017)

Oh well, just as I manage to praise one episode, the next one comes with something like this. Unfortunate predictability. Thank goodness the creators didn't think they would have to have Rachel McAdams stab me in the eye to make me understand that it would happen. It reminded me of some Czech movies where the sponsor is similarly highlighted ("Hey dad, did you take Argin Max today!"), but here it sounded amateurish. 4 stars. (09.11.2017)

Oh, I hope this isn't true! I don't know what the scriptwriter was thinking, but this was a disaster. The ending of the episode was desperately predictable, what I truly didn't expect was that terrible pathos, constant slow motion movements, and endlessly repetitive plot. (09.11.2017)

If you enjoyed the third season, you’d better stop reading. If you haven't seen it yet, stop reading and go form your own opinion. I'm actually writing this review just for myself to vent the frustration that came over me after finishing all eight episodes. The opening made me look forward to a crime series full of suspense and great atmosphere. Instead, I got a weird mixture of a crime series and Memento. Some of the episodes were mysterious, others even more mysterious, but the fairy tale/soap opera-like conclusion spoiled all the mystery there was. 3*- (20.11.2019)

I wasn't particularly enthusiastic about the second season of the series, but I was even more intrigued by the first episode of the third season. Every time the story went back to 1980 (which luckily happened often), I could enjoy the excellent, intense atmosphere and a constant sense of suspense. If it continues like this, I will be very satisfied. (18.11.2019)

In the second episode, I noticeably missed the pervasive tension from the opening episode, which also affected the overall atmosphere, which did not reach the same quality as before. The pace of the story also decreased slightly, and human rights fighters had to gnaw furniture with anger during the disgusting and unfair interrogation of a pedophile. (19.11.2019)

If there was something I didn't count on after a great introduction, it was a gradual decline in quality. I initially enjoyed the alternating three time planes, but in the third episode, the creators somehow lost control. No, this time I didn't have a great time, tension and atmosphere didn't work because of constant time jumps. (19.11.2019)

The fourth episode made the same impression on me as the previous one, nothing big happened once again, there was constant time travel and the atmosphere and tension were left aside. When the creators finally decided to start an interesting action, they cut it with a claymore and I have to wait for the result. (19.11.2019)

The fifth episode was as mysterious as the famous castle in the Carpathians, at times it seemed like I would even find out something, but unfortunately, the creators always remembered that they cannot even hint. The action-packed introduction of the episode was thrilling, making the subsequent slowdown in pace even more depressing. I wish for the season to be affected by some significant development as soon as possible. (19.11.2019)

Well, I don't know, I was expecting a crime thriller full of tension and an unpleasant atmosphere, but with each episode it seems like the creators wanted to show an incompetent police force and political pressure from the "bad guys" in order to win over society, as the police have not been at the top of the popularity chart in recent years. The seventh episode seemed to be slightly livelier than the previous four parts, but it definitely wasn't enough for a better grade. I still can't shake the feeling that the creators lured me in with an excellent opening only to deceitfully deceive me afterwards. (20.11.2019)

Darling (a neat substitute for a punchy expression I really wanted to use), it was a straight hit to the eye. If I had known about the cheap happy ending the creators would come up with in the finale, I wouldn't have complained so much about the previous episodes. All that was missing was a bell and an announcement that everyone lived happily until they were taken care of by Alzheimer's and other civilization diseases. (20.11.2019)
