Jayasundara's first feature film made out of Sri Lanka - in Calcutta and its surroundings - is yet another masterpiece by the director who this time deals with the theme of guilt and the contrast between jungle and a modern megapolis. Central to the film is a model situation concerning two brothers - "the fool" and "the builder" - who, despite their completely different social status, harbour the same worries and anxieties.
