Rudolf bekommt von seinem Chef einen All-inclusive-Urlaub in Griechenland in Aussicht gestellt. Als das Angebot platzt, bekommt er es nicht übers Herz, die Vorfreude seiner Frau Karin und seiner drei Kinder zu enttäuschen. Er bucht eine Pauschalreise auf eigene Kosten und so geht es diesen Sommer in den sonnigen Süden. Für den zwölfjährigen Sönke und seine Geschwister Ole und Anna beginnt ein turbulenter Familienurlaub am Meer - Chaos inklusive! (ORF)

"Participants of the trip" (in) the Swedish way. And I must say that the Swedes definitely didn't succeed as well as we did. The characters are incredibly unpleasant, their behavior is blatantly idiotic, which ultimately makes the film incredibly annoying, and you hope in vain that it's actually a slasher and the whole family on vacation will die. It doesn't happen. Instead, you will have to settle for a stupid comedy. It's not just the domain of Americans.
