Aunt Klári, Szőts Gáspár's love from his years of youth, who got married in Mexico in the meantime, supports Szőts Gáspár, now a widower, in raising his child by sending him 100 dollars every month. Szőts, a debauchee, spends the money on entertainment and drink. Not a particularly thrifty kind of person, he writes to Aunt Klári that he has two daughters, Éva and Lili, to support. His problems start when Aunt Klári unexpectedly arrives in Budapest. She wants to see both girls. Éva, Szőts's daughter, in an effort to get her father out of this embarrassing situation, acts out the role of an imaginary younger sister for Aunt Klári's son by using a blonde wig. He falls in love with the girl. At the same time, Szőts asks Csöpi, a dancer in his favourite night-club, to pose as her daughter for Aunt Klári. So Lili, who, in Szőts's version of the family saga recounted to Aunt Klári, became the family's shame, is personified by two different individuals. (Verleiher-Text)
