The film, sometimes also known as "The Deadly Game," didn't impress me greatly. This British wave of gritty detective/thriller stories set in London and other British streets is quite overwhelming. There are quite a few of them, and one feels like they are all the same, only with slightly different faces. The problem with this film is that it's not really gritty, it's not even clever, and it certainly isn't entertaining. It's nice that not everyone is trying to imitate Ritchie, but when the story is worth nothing, it simply becomes boring.
