FilmFISH was shot in a small village on Iceland’s eastern coast whose population triples during the fishing season. The processing plant employs students from around the world, ships bring empty barrels to be filled with salted herring. People toil 16 hours a day, drinking smuggled wine at night because the alcohol shop closes during the season. (Ji.hlava International Documentary Film Festival)
