(Verleiher-Text)

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a “normal” Finnish film—if that’s even a thing. But one thing’s for sure, they always manage to grab your attention. Priest of Evil gives us a serial killer in the subway, all set to Finnish metal that ranges from heavy to mellow. You even get a few Finnish swear words thrown in for good measure. The downside? The movie felt like it got run through a million filters to create some kind of edgy atmosphere, but honestly, it just became overkill. By the end, I was pretty much done with all the visual effects. Still, it had its moments. Best line? “If Satan is in me - then that is God's will.” ()
