As a home video, it's a pleasant affair, but as a professional documentary on the Holocaust, it's almost disposable. Arnošt Lustig is a respected and quality writer, but here he comes across more like a rambling grandfather on the brink of dementia, and the whole pseudo-documentary reeks of complete helplessness. Overall impression: 30%.
