Le Dernier Vol

The French Sahara, 1933. On a quest to find the man she loves, gone missing during a solo flight from London to Capetown, adventurer and pilot Marie Vallières de Beaumont is forced to land her biplane near a forward post of the French Camel Corps in the middle of the Sahara. Seeing the young woman's determination, Antoine Chauvet, a lieutenant at odds with his superiors, decides to help her on a desperate mission across the vast, hostile stretch of desert called the Ténéré.
