Wakaranai

A 16-year-old boy watches as his childhood dreams of happiness steadily disappear with the passing of days. His mother has been forced to quit her job and lies in a hospital bed suffering from a severe illness; his father lost all touch with his former family a long time ago. It is difficult for a boy of his age to find a lasting well-paid job, so he is forced to survive with virtually no income. Exhausted by carrying the weight of responsibilities beyond his years, he is forced to make a series of drastic and painful decisions. (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival)
