Mitchell bekommt einen neuen Fall angeboten. Dummerweise soll er ausgerechnet die Firma vertreten, mit der sein Vater seit Jahren verfeindet ist. Der Firmengründer war einst Jays bester Freund, hat ihm jedoch die Kundenkartei gestohlen und sich damit selbstständig gemacht. Dylan würde indes gerne zu Haley in den Keller ziehen. Claire gefällt die Idee zwar nicht, doch sie lässt sich von Phil umstimmen. Doch dieser bereut schon bald, für Dylan und Haley Partei ergriffen zu haben. (ORF)

In the seventh season, Modern Family continues to be a safe bet if I want to exercise my abs. Dad Phil once again showed that he really deserves the Father of the Year title. I enjoyed the cooperation between the father and son of the Pritchett family in fighting their archenemy. Gloria's efforts in Manny's school and Luke and Manny's new hunting ground were also entertaining. I also like that the creators don't push too hard on the emotional moments.
