Manny hat auf dem Fußballplatz nur Augen für die hübsche Brenda. Er möchte ihr im Einkaufszentrum unbedingt seine Liebe gestehen. Jay hält das für keine gute Idee, schließlich ist Brenda mit ihren 16 Jahren deutlich älter als Manny. Gloria hingegen tut alles, um den jungen Romeo zu unterstützen. Claire ist unterdessen damit beschäftigt, junge Triebe im Keim zu ersticken. Ihre Tochter Haley hat nämlich zum ersten Mal einen Jungen mit nach Hause gebracht. (ORF)

I had been postponing watching the series for a very long time, but I was convinced to give it a try by the ratings of KM Phoenix and bubun, and now I'm glad that I finally got to it. The first episode pleasantly surprised me by not incorporating annoying laughter that usually alerts the viewer to a funny moment. The only letdown was the traditional quota tribute, but overall, I had a great time. The creators didn't push humor too hard, and I could be satisfied.// "I'm a cool dad. I surf the internet, use abbreviations like: LOL - loud laughter, OMG - oh my God, WTF - what the heck."
