Die Spottdrossel (2014) (S04E07)

Englisch I have to admit that the seventh episode appealed to me more than the previous one. Arya and the Hound have formed an odd dynamic duo that simply works for me. I would say that they have been entertaining me the most out of everyone present for a while now. Tyrion is funny even in prison, Brienne's quest has a new purpose, only Daenerys and the Wall are stagnating, and I have an unmistakable feeling that the Mountain has changed his face for the second time, but maybe I am mistaken. ()

Der Berg und die Viper (2014) (S04E08)

Englisch Important things are happening, but the insignificant ones did not fall behind, so for me the eighth episode is unbalanced. I will start with positive things, so paradoxically I have to praise the conclusion with a perfect showdown, Sansa Stark's character finally undergoes some development (and I don't mean that she is a year older again), and Arya and the Hound have once again reached the destination of their journey. The events surrounding Theon/Greyjoy don't really interest me, and the conversations in this episode were mostly meaningless, so there's that. ()

Die Wächter auf der Mauer (2014) (S04E09)

Englisch I would definitely rate the ninth episode with five stars, but I would have to see the fight properly. I understand that only a suicide would attack the Wall during the day, but sometimes I got a bit lost in the darkness. In addition, there couldn't be a lack of a heart-wrenching scene with a dying emotional investment, the fight suddenly almost quietens down and the viewer's eye sheds a tear. The creators sketched out this cliché nicely. ()

Die Kinder (2014) (S04E10)

Englisch Without Brandon's annoying plot line, it could have been a five-star rating, but I really didn't like this group. The most interesting events this time took place at King's Landing, Cersei's conversation with Tywin and Tyrion's revenge were great, as well as the conclusion with Varys, but there was also excitement at the Wall and I saw another quality duel. Negatives: Tywin's death - I enjoyed Lannister dad, a cold snake. Positives: Jojen and Shae - I am joyful that I won't have to see them anymore. ()

Season 5 (2015) (S05)

Englisch Season 5 was a disappointment. I have to admit that, a couple of times, I found myself just staring blankly at the screen while my brain was trying to process the latest twist of logic. Oh well, it was to be expected as the season had two highlights for many viewers: Sansa's wedding night and Cersei's walk of shame. It seems that some people just can't find a suitable porn site, so they get off on HBO shows. What I prefer is a good fantasy story, as I have no trouble finding porn online. ()

Die Kriege, die da kommen (2015) (S05E01)

Englisch At first, I thought that the first episode of the fifth season would at least reach four stars, but then the creators let several completely unnecessary conversations take place in King's Landing and added another portion of gay soft porn, which really doesn't sit well with me, and it was decided. It's a shame because the dialogues between Varys and Tyrion were great again. ()

Das Haus von Schwarz und Weiß (2015) (S05E02)

Englisch The fifth season hasn't convinced me much so far, even in the second episode, a lot happens, only to later realize that nothing really significant happened. Everyone talks, but few talk about the matter at hand, nobody cares about Brienne, so she decides to fulfill her promise against everyone's wishes. Daenerys is stuck in Meereen, and to make things warmer after the events at the Wall, Jaime leaves for Dorne. Hmmm, a bit boring. ()

Der Hohe Spatz (2015) (S05E03)

Englisch And the third episode offered essentially the same as the previous ones. I didn't particularly enjoy it, although I was pleased that Janos got what he deserved. The plot practically stagnated, Braavos bored me to death, every conversation between Stannis and Jon always ended up at the same dead point, and even Tyrion, who has been drunk for three episodes already, is starting to bore me. ()

Die Söhne der Harpyie (2015) (S05E04)

Englisch Given that I absolutely can't stand religious fanatics of any faith, I have never seen Jonathan Pryce in a more disgusting role. The Dornish adventure turned out to be a disappointment, and I didn't quite grasp the situation in Meereen. Who are the Unsullied, by the way? The best soldiers? Really? In that case, it must have been some kind of parody that I didn't understand. ()

Töte den Jungen (2015) (S05E05)

Englisch Another standard episode of the fifth season. Various decisions were made, two campaigns (one military and one evacuation) are being prepared in the north, but the plot was desperately shallow once again and practically brought nothing new. The conclusion with Tyrion and Jorah was the only thing worth mentioning and if someone fell asleep during this episode, this could wake him/her up. ()

Ungebeugt, Ungezähmt, Ungebrochen (2015) (S05E06)

Englisch I am still waiting for a change for the better, but still in vain. The fifth season either didn't go well, or I didn't understand it, but I had no problem with the book. Jaime's journey to save Myrcella sounds very naive, the Sand Snakes, who I found interesting in the book, desperately bore me in the series, Arya's storyline currently bores me more, so all my hopes are focused on the North. ()

Das Geschenk (2015) (S05E07)

Englisch Hmmm, so even after the seventh episode, there hasn't been any change. Stannis' forces are trapped in the snow like the 6th army in Stalingrad, Jon decided in the previous episode and now he starts implementing his plan, and everything around him is terrifyingly scattered. Truly, I only enjoyed Tyrion's thorny journey to Daenerys. ()

Hartheim (2015) (S05E08)

Englisch I didn't even hope that the third season would come with an episode that would truly entertain me. And behold, it happened. I have a few factual remarks about what I saw, but I was so happy that I didn't get bored, so I'll keep them to myself and give the eighth episode full praise. ()

Der Tanz der Drachen (2015) (S05E09)

Englisch No, I don't know if the creators really thought it through, they gave up on the whole season and only packed the quality into two (or maybe three? we'll see) episodes. I praised the previous episode and I also liked this one. Stannis is still going through his Stalingrad, I even started to enjoy Arya's adventure in Braavos, and there was an interesting twist in Meereen where it turned out that every other inhabitant of the city belongs to the Sons of the Harpy, judging by their numbers. ()

Die Gnade der Mutter (2015) (S05E10)

Englisch There was again a decline in quality compared to the previous two episodes. I'm not saying I was bored, the final part was overloaded with events, but some things simply bothered me. Brienne calmly walks through the battlefield to seek her revenge (Stannis must have had a GPS on him), and Cersei's walk through the city was endless, I don't even know, should it have excited, amazed, or disgusted me? It didn't lead to any of those, I just had to use the ffwd button because it was boring and long. Arya, however, entertained with an interesting slaughter. ()

Season 6 (2016) (S06)

Englisch Season 6 almost buried the series for me. I’m saying almost because I've made it through six seasons, so I won't be a pussy and I'll make it through the seventh. Okay, to be fair, I enjoyed Season 4 quite a bit. Season 5 was still alright, but what to say of Season 6? The biggest problem was that the writers rejected any kind of logic. If something doesn't make sense to me, I'm hardly going to like it. They didn’t bother with storytelling either. It was just about the need to shock at any cost. But not even that worked, which it couldn’t, given how predictable everything was. ()

Die Rote Frau (2016) (S06E01)

Englisch The first episode of the sixth season "pleased" me with many illogicalities, but what disappoints me the most is that the creators didn't show me that fantastic parachute which Theon and Sansa had to demonstrate after their suicidal jump from the walls, when they didn't suffer even a scratch or a nice little splintered fracture. Brienne clearly demonstrated that she really follows the GPS signal, she found her target in the middle of the forest at the right time and so on and so forth. What were the creators thinking with that final scene? I felt like someone raped my brain. ()

Zuhause (2016) (S06E02)

Englisch Once again, I evidently misunderstood the creative intention, or the screenwriters think I'm senile. The Night's Watch, on which the entire civilized world relies, surrenders its weapons without a fight, even though just a few episodes ago its men fought literally to the last drop of blood. Tyrion disguises himself as a merchant in Meereen and on the street, no one recognizes him unless he reveals himself with his noble walk? And I, idiot, have been thinking this whole time that he's a dwarf! But I am the fool! After two episodes, it is still about nothing. ()

Eidbrecher (2016) (S06E03)

Englisch Alright, I've come to terms with the fact that things won't get any better. Arthur Dayne had a huge weakness, he fought like a god against two or more opponents, but when there was only one against him, it lasted like a walk in the park for him. But there were so many inconsistencies here again that it's probably not worth dwelling on each one. I wonder who gave Bran a "cool" haircut during his stay in the cave. The episode once again included many conversations and monologues about nothing, and the competition "Who can pee further" in King's Landing was all very "interesting". ()

Das Buch des Fremden (2016) (S06E04)

Englisch The fourth episode brought absolutely unbelievable adventure in the dark alleys (???!!!) of Vaes Dothrak. The nomads have somehow settled with us, civilization is evidently progressing, and with it comes urbanization. In Tyrion's resolution of the situation in Slaver's Bay, I found significant flaws and debates with the High Septon are boring and annoying. To remind myself what a bastard Ramsay is, Osha returns to the scene (for a moment) and Daenerys once again emerges unharmed from the flames (Now I don't know if the creators ran out of ideas or if she hasn't shown her breasts for a long time?).
