A very realistic film about what life as a prostitute in Japan can be like. But in addition to showing all that such a prostitute might encounter, there is also a story that could lead to redemption. In this regard, the camera work is excellently utilized, especially in an otherwise black-and-white film. Explicitness goes hand in hand with the story. ()
