Better Things

Better Things is tale set in present-day rural England. The film follows both the young and the old in their journeys of withdrawal and commitment to each other and to life. Sexual awakening, boredom and drugs, shape but do not steer the narrative, which works rather by connecting the poetic and transcendent. (Morelia International Film Festival)
