The car - the confirmation of social success of a common American as well as the cause of many desperate situations - used to be one of the favourites of silent comedy. Harold has to stand up to his role of a driver but also of a suitor. Famous T-Model Ford stars here in a prominent role, being something more than a prop. The car motive was later brought to perfection in Lloyd's film Hot Water. (Summer Film School)

"Er" alias Harold Lloyd als fescher Typ, Haudegen und realitätsfremder Trottel in einer der vielen Slapstick-Routinen von Roach. Diesmal vollführt der "Meister" perfekte Stunts mit dem Auto (wirklich bewundernswert), während er versucht, eine Theatervorstellung zu schaffen. Kurz gesagt, ein Auto und Lloyd sind gleichbedeutend mit Gefahr!
