Civil war breaks loose in Yugoslavia. In a Stockholm suburb Mihajlo's father - the paranoid and suicidal Petar - locks himself in the garage. We have the classic Balkan characters, portrayed in a drama, yet the film can't help but have a certain comedic undertone. The whole thing is then spontaneous, and it introduces us to a slightly different culture, which we, however, know quite well and somewhat better from the films of Emir Kusturica. In his case, it works better.
