Feast II - Sloppy Seconds

I won’t say that Feast was a big horror event for me, it was an easygoing fun film to watch once, but this one really pissed me off. This sequel is nothing but a series of confusing, wannabe funny, bloody and mostly cringe-worthy and tasteless scenes that could never be compared with the first part (and the director is the same person!). The funny and likeable characters have been replaced by a bunch of insufferable figures who would already deserve to be killed if they were alone, not to mention as a group. The only good moment I can think of is the gag with the kid, which is nicely politically incorrect and the only thing that made me smile. Perhaps it deserves one star overall, but I don’t want to give it to it. (05.10.2008)

Ach, aber bitte, Kollegen, ihr habt wohl keinen Sinn für Humor! :) Solch eine Ladung an Kot, Scheiße und Monstern-Sperma lasst ihr euch gerne beim Tierporno im Wohnzimmer anschauen, also warum tut ihr jetzt auf Zagorenka und schämt euch, dass es geschmacklos ist? Das hier ist wirklich ein Massaker, dazu noch verpackt in eine derben vulgären Komödie mit reichlich Gore und Splatter, also müssen die Troma-Fans insgesamt zufrieden sein. Wo sonst sieht man solch parodische Charaktere in verrückten, sogar bizarren Situationen, bei denen man seine Bauchmuskeln ausreichend trainieren kann? - "Komm schon, alter Mann, reiß noch ein Stückchen Oma ab." "Bloody Feast 2: Massacre" is more open in terms of space, but otherwise it just seems like a weak sequel to the first film, which in my opinion broke boundaries, especially in terms of what is still considered humor and what can be considered merely perversion. The second film lacks all of that and only has flat characters, which are somewhat okay at times, scenes that are occasionally enjoyable, but overall it simply doesn't stand out and isn't entertaining.
