Leonard und Sheldon sind seit Ewigkeiten dicke Kumpel. Gemeinsam teilen sie sich nicht nur Wohnung und Arbeitsplatz, sondern auch und vor allem ihre unbezähmbare Leidenschaft für die Quantenmechanik. Vom wahren Leben und von Frauen im Besonderen haben die beiden Physik-Genies allerdings kaum eine Ahnung. Das soll sich mit dem Einzug ihrer neuen Nachbarin ändern. Gerade frisch getrennt, kann die adrette Penny die Ablenkung durch zwei kauzig-trollige Eigenbrötler tatsächlich gut gebrauchen. (ORF)

In the first episode of the first season, two totally different worlds collided for the first time, and I had a great time from the very beginning. The pilot introduced me to all five main characters, and even though I didn't understand all of the terms exactly because my intelligence is somewhere between Penny and Howard, I had a blast enjoying the episode packed with great lines.
