Kill Your Darlings

Young, successful, good-looking and Swedish…yet totally frustrated by writer’s block, Erik (Andreas Wilson) is living in Hollywood, far away from home, when he meets the mysterious, seductive Lola (Lolita Davidovich). Spellbound by her diabolic nature, he is lured into an outrageous road trip through the American southwest – a wild ride that soon turns into an absurd and dangerous cat-and-mouse game.

Traveling close behind is a motley crew of suicidal misfits: a failed transvestite housewife, a desperate young Beverly Hills mom and a softhearted hit man, all making their way through the desert to face their sell-out celebrity shrink (John Larroquette) in Las Vegas.

Based on the writer/director Björne Larson´s real life road trip with a charming stranger turned dangerous psychopath, KILL YOUR DARLINGS presents a darkly humorous world where a writer’s search for art and fulfillment becomes intertwined with a host of quirky characters seeking love and adventure.
