Bei Barney, Marshall und Ted hat sich seit der Collegezeit ein Ritual manifestiert: Alle drei Jahre schauen sie sich gemeinsam die 'Star Wars' Trilogie an. Dabei wird auch in die Zukunft geblickt, wie sich das eigene Leben so in den nächsten Jahren verändern wird. Ted liegt bei seinen Zukunftsprognosen immer weit daneben. The plot of this episode was completely irrelevant to the main story. No significant humor to bail it out either. Honestly, if I didn't know what "fluff" meant in the context of TV shows, this episode would define it perfectly. / Lesson learned: Planning the future is nice. It keeps the boredom at bay, and you might even have a good laugh later. In the best case scenario.
