Polizei? ()
A television play based on absurd exaggeration, dialogue, and a very decent cast, including a four-legged actor in the story. Honestly, the screenplay isn't anything exceptional, and the direction is average for a television production. However, Simona Stašová completely embodies her role as the dominant, haughty official, while the bearded Hrušínský is almost unrecognizable next to his canine colleague, and Libuše Šafránková's usual shy, endearing smile is enough to make her the third part of a marital triangle. Pavel Kříž crowns it all with his monologues, as if they were lifted from some forgotten play by Ionesco. Strangely enough, it all holds together despite being first-rate madness. Overall impression 60%. ()
