Lieben und verachten dass das zugleich geht, wissen Nadja und Martha ganz genau. Die beiden Mädchen sind sich die liebsten Feinde, das Rotlichtmilieu Athens ist ihr Zuhause. Auf ihrer gemeinsamen Tour de Force durch die Labyrinthe der Prostituierten-Szene jagen sich die Albträume im Viertelstundentakt. Aber während die lebenshungrige Nadja nur auf die nächste Gelegenheit wartet, der Finsternis der Prostitution zu entkommen, lässt sich Martha immer tiefer in würdelose Selbstaufgabe treiben. Als Nadja die Gelegenheit kommen sieht, greift sie rücksichtslos zu und manövriert sich und Martha in einen tragischen Kreislauf aus Mord und Verrat. (Verleiher-Text)

I’ve always found Greek cinematography weird and the movie Hardcore is no different. In a weird, rough, but at times sensitive, way it tells a story about two whores, where one knows she is a whore, accepts it as her fate and the money from this work pleases her, while the other one thinks she is not a whore and considers this activity to be fun. As the story progresses, even the second one finds out that they are not so different and so she hits a similar bottom. Mix into it some fights, blood, death and it is the setting for a fuck up. For hour and a half I was wondering why the Greeks shoot such weird and dirty stories.
