Dockpojken

A young man recalls his childhood. It's winter. His father is a lumberman and his mother slaves away for the doll factory in the valley. The family depends for its support on the work she does together with her young son, making carnival masks and dolls. One day his parents discover the boy has transformed the girl dolls into boy dolls by carving an obvious penis into the doll moulds. Furious, his father raises his axe to the boy who thereupon runs away from home. (Verleiher-Text)
