The picture takes us through a single day in the construction of a giant steel mill in Eastern Slovak metropolis of Košice; however, this is not a news story but rather a kind of mosaic, a stylised documentary based on construction workers' micro-stories. The panoramic format helps the director capture the vast structures under construction while also giving him ample space to work with the depth of picture and action in multiple layers.
