Portwenn ist in heller Aufruhr, denn Doc Martin und Louisa wollen heiraten! Wie es aussieht, findet die Hochzeit schon bald statt, denn bereits in drei Wochen gibt es den einzigen noch freien Termin in der Kirche. Allerdings muss der Doc zuvor noch eine Atemwegserkrankung in den Griff bekommen, die im Ort grassiert. Außerdem macht ihm eine Patientin Sorgen, die sich weigert, nach ihrer Knie-OP Antibiotika zu nehmen. Schuld daran ist ihre dubiose Schwester. (Sat.1 Gold)

The creators grafted a classic detective story from the English countryside onto the sixth episode, and surprisingly, it worked well for me. Although I had strong concerns about the Doctor's behavior when it comes to romance, Martin fortunately didn't lose control, so he didn't disappoint me, and four stars to him! :-)
