A young woman on board of a bus notices that her watch has been stolen. The ticket collector keeps everybody on board, and upon the advice of a traffic police, they drive directly to the nearest police station. A blonde woman attempts to get on the bus there, but is politely asked to leave. The investigation is continued at the police station, then everybody is sent home. Now the police are trying to identify the owner of an abandoned brief-case, as the brief-case is full of stolen jewellery. On the way back, the watch is found. At the police station again. The pick-pocket, a lady in a fur-coat, is identified, but nothing is yet known about the owner of the brief-case. A trap is laid, and the bus starts upon its route with the brief-case on board. The blonde woman follows the bus in a taxi, and when she attempts to lay her hands on the brief-case, the passengers arrest him. (Verleiher-Text)
