In dem zweiten Sequel von Robert Rodriguez’ Kultfilm “From Dusk Till Dawn” wird nach Westernart gespickt mit leckeren Vampireinlagen erzählt, wie vor hundert Jahren die berüchtigte Vampirkönigin Santanico Pandemonium in Mexico ‘geboren’ wurde. Santanico wurde im Original von Salma Hayek gespielt, hier hat Ara Celi die Rolle übernommen. (Verleiher-Text)

From Dusk Till Dawn 3: The Hangman's Daughter hat mit dem ersten Teil nur drei Dinge gemeinsam: die Hälfte des Titels, die Vampire und die Vampirinnen mit großen Brüsten. Dieser Film ist ein klassischer B-Movie, richtig blutig, voll von einfallsreichen Actionszenen (z. B. die Szene mit der Postkutsche)… Wegen dieses Films bin ich einst bis Mitternacht wach geblieben und habe dann bis zwei Uhr morgens vor dem Fernseher gehockt.

The second installment didn't impress me at all; on the contrary, I think it's a mishmash that doesn't really belong in the series. In the case of the third installment, at least you're glad that it's just a plain B-movie, nothing more. It's sometimes a bit action-packed, sometimes a bit horror-themed, and you can see that there was an attempt to continue the mythology at least a little. Still, overall, it's mostly below average and could easily be forgotten.
