A dramatic portrayal of the social situation in Slovakia during the pre-Munich bourgeois Slovak Republic. It depicts the Slovak working class struggle against exploitation and poverty. The story is situated in a factory that is to be closed. The manager simply decides to fire all the employees being aware that they have no future perspective of work and earnings. (Verleiher-Text)
