Sonny (Reynolds) is a freewheeling bachelor who will do anything to avoid physical pain! So when he suddenly is diagnosed with a fatal -- and painful -- disease, he guzzles down a bottle of sleeping pills in an effort to end it all! But his plan not only fails, it lands Sonny in the loony bin beside a demented schizophrenic named Marlon (DeLuise) who is more than eager to help him fulfill his mission!
