Mrs. Fazekas and her three sons live in a tenement house in the outskirts. The eldest son, Fecó, is saving money in order to buy a washing machine for his mother, while her other two sons spend time by hanging around and playing tricks. The youngest, Cinege, gets into a conflict with Huszár who lives in the same house. The man decides to give the boy a chance, offering him a job in the factory. Cinege proves to be a talented worker, and he fancies a girl, too. In the meantime, Jumbó needs money, so he steals Fecó's savings. With his friends, he wants to rob the neighbouring bank. They tease Cinege into joining them, but in the end he spoils the robbery. They knock him down and leave him on a bench. Jumbó is arrested during the night. Cinege is taken to hospital but goes back to his worried family the same night. (Verleiher-Text)
