Voice

At the film workshop "VOICE" in Groruddalen in Oslo, young people learn to make films with mobile phones, about things that occupy them. With guidance from the adult activists Dawit, Sara and Juan, they discuss each other's films and publish them online - even when the content is controversial. When "VOICE" is approached by filmmaker Rhea, who wants to make a documentary about them for NRK, a conflict arises: What right does she have as an outsider to tell their story? The activists demand more and more influence, and Rhea must go to great lengths to create a "democratic" film production. (The Norwegian International Film Festival)
