Englisch The hallmark of the Brno television studio's work is, at best, blandness, and at worst, sheer despair. I don't know what it is, but as the saying goes, a fish rots from the head, so it's probably the leadership, but I really can't recall any title that would make me happy. In this case, too, the Brno team didn't disappoint, turning a promising potential of a stylish atmospheric mystery story into something where there's no trace of atmosphere. It doesn't evoke fear because the mysterious "vampire" can manage no more than rolling eyes and strange grimaces that are more laughable than anything else. From a directorial perspective, it's simply dead, not to mention that, for example, Marcela Peňázová was cast inappropriately. The only standout performances come from Jan Teplý and Ladislav Lakomý, who maintain their standard. Overall impression: 40%. ()
